ABOUT NEIE

Training Personal Teachers, Not Just Bible Students

Many believers want to share their faith but hold back because they’ve never been trained. NEIE exists to change that — training everyday believers to teach with confidence, starting in the classroom and ending in the field.

Our Calling

Our vision isn’t new — it comes directly from the command Christ gave His apostles, and it’s why NEIE is built the way it is.

A Commission That Doesn't End With Us

Before He ascended, Jesus sent His followers to go, make disciples of every nation, baptize them, and teach them to obey everything He had commanded — a charge that extends to every disciple until the end of the age. That charge is still standing today, and it’s still ours to carry.

Teach Others to Teach Others

Paul didn’t just train Timothy — he charged him to entrust what he’d learned to faithful people who would be able to teach it to others as well. That’s the multiplication principle NEIE is built on: we’re not just training individual teachers, we’re training teachers who go on to train more teachers.

OUR MOTTO

Go As You Grow. Grow As You Go.

No one has to master the entire Bible before they can teach someone about Christ. As students step out and share what they’re learning, the questions they encounter along the way send them back to study — and that back-and-forth between doing and learning is where real growth happens.

A 50/50 School

NEIE is what we call a 50/50 school — half classroom theory, half real-world outreach. Knowing the theory of outreach isn't the same as practicing it, so every student is challenged to put what they learn in the classroom to work in the field.

Classroom Theory

A solid biblical foundation, taught in a way that’s built for everyday believers rather than seminary students.

Field Experience

Local, out-of-state, and overseas mission opportunities where students put their classroom learning into practice.

Stronger Congregations

Many congregations lack enough Bible class teachers. NEIE-trained students help fill that gap, lightening the load for existing teachers and building a stronger fellowship.

Discipleship Pathway

That 50/50 model plays out as three concrete stages every student moves through: Learn, Teach, and Save.

PATHWAY STAGE 1

Learn

Being effective in reaching souls for Christ starts in the classroom. Our two-year curriculum builds a solid, practical biblical foundation one course at a time, so every student has something worth teaching before they’re asked to teach it.

PATHWAY STAGE 2

Teach

Classroom learning only goes so far until it’s put into practice. Teach is where students take what they’ve learned and start using it — across the table with a friend, or in front of a Bible class where they worship. This is what ‘Go As You Grow’ looks like in real life.

PATHWAY STAGE 3

Save

Save is where it all leads: a truth seeker hearing the gospel, believing it, repenting, confessing Christ, and being baptized for the forgiveness of sins — and being added to His church.

The Steps of Salvation

  • Hear the gospel of Christ
  • Believe that Jesus is the Son of God
  • Repent of sin
  • Confess Christ
  • Be baptized for the forgiveness of sins

Led By Practicing Evangelists, Not Just Instructors

NEIE is led by people who teach outreach because they still do outreach themselves.
