Programs of Study

Three Ways to Study. One Goal: Becoming a Personal Teacher.

Whether you want to complete the full two-year program or simply sit in on a class that interests you, there’s a place for you at NEIE.

Choose the Path That Fits Your Life

NEIE offers three ways to study, so you can go as deep as your schedule and calling allow.

Formal

Complete all ten courses over two consecutive years and earn a graduation certificate. Formal students are also expected to take part in local outreach, and out-of-state outreach when possible.

Informal

Choose your own course of study. Complete a single class and earn a certificate of completion — finish all ten and you'll earn the same graduation certificate as a Formal student.

Audit

Just want to sit in and learn? Pick a class and come as you are — no application or outreach commitment required.
